Points are given out by the Emporers of the guild for good deeds concerning the guild and its members. Once a player has reached a certain number of points, they go up a rank, their points return to zero and they start trying to accumulate more points in order to go up another rank. Below is how many points are needed to rise to the next rank, and how to get the points needed to do so. Certain high ranks are determined by the Emporers themselves, and there are no particular number of points are needed, although more points and a high rank means the Emporers are more likely to appoint you as a General, Lord, High Lord, or OverLord. The Champion rank is the winner of the most recent Champion Tournament (see Tournament Info). There are only two Emporers and that is all there ever will be, as the Emporer(s) is/are reserved for the creator(s) of the guild.
